Just Because There’s A Goalie Doesn’t Mean You Can’t Score

hes-just-not-that-into-youIt was probably 3 or 4 years ago when the phenomenon known as HE’S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU (the self help book that helped women get over guys they shouldn’t date) hit the United States.  It was an instant hit that resonated with bitter American women across the nation.  Hooray!  I read the book.  It’s OK, a lot of common sense and stuff, but not brilliant by any means.  I was glad when I stopped hearing about the book…that was until I heard about the movie.  I can’t believe they are making this into a movie!  Hollywood will milk whatever is popular these days, just you wait, they’ll be making THE SEVEN HABITS OF EFFECTIVE PEOPLE into a movie in no time.

Anyway, rather than be hater (which is pretty easy) I started thinking.  Rather than hate these people for putting out this stuff and becoming filthy rich, why not join them?   I’ve decided to ride the wave of self help books for single women with my soon to be released title JUST BECAUSE THERE’S A GOALIE DOESN’T MEAN YOU CAN’T SCORE ($24.99):

just-because-theres-a-goalThis soon to be released book, which will soon be released as a movie starring Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Reese Witherspoon, is a no nonsense guide for women to get the man that they want even if they aren’t “technically” available.  If the man of your dreams is with someone else that doesn’t mean you don’t have a chance.  Using the metaphor of soccer as the basis of the book I show how the wife, girlfriend, or gay lover is the evil goalie that is stopping YOU, the attractive independent woman, from scoring the ultimate goal…the man of your dreams.  Giving up just because there’s someone else in the picture is like forfeiting the soccer game before you even play.   As you can imagine this books is going to make me millions.  I’m accepting pre-orders.  Ladies (or men) let me know how many of these books you want.

did you hear about this jewish couple on Oprah that made a book based on their own personal love story during WWII that’s going to be made into a movie? Turns out their story was completely fabricated too! It gives me hope.
